Frequently Asked Questions
Feeding:
We feed Purina Pro Plan Sensitive Skin/Stomach or you can bring your pet's own food to keep him on the same diet. Puppies should always bring their own food. We recommend if you have a nervous, shy or first time boarder that you should bring their own food, since this will be one less change for them.
All food brought from home should be pre-bagged into separate meals. Any supplements or specialty treats should be added to each meal bags. All meal bags should be labelled with the pet's first and last name and "breakfast" or "dinner". If you prefer, our trained team can pre-bag and label your meals for an additional charge. Medicine should be brought separately with instructions attached and updated in your pet's profile.
We have all the food dishes and water bowls, so you do not have to bring these.
Toys/Treats:
You are welcome to bring toys and treats. We recommend nylabones or kongs. These items can NOT be chewed or torn into little pieces and swallowed. We discourage rawhides because these can cause stomach upset, as well as, present a choking hazard. All toys should be labelled with the pets first and last name. We are not responsible for lost or damaged items.
Bedding:
We can provide a raised COT or ORTHOMAT for our guests to use. Please keep bedding and blanket sizes to 3'x3' to allow any necessary laundering. We do not charge extra for these. If they are chewers or diggers, these are NOT a safe option. They can be chewed and swallowed. In addition to an $80 cot charge for damage, your pet could face additional medical expenses associated with ingesting the cot. All items should be labelled with the pets first and last name. We are not responsible for lost or damaged items.
If bringing your own bedding, a small fleece blanket or towel works well. Do NOT bring a comforter or your pet's "good" dog bed from home. It needs to be something that can be washed easily. All items should be labelled with the pets first and last name. We are not responsible for lost or damaged items.

We welcome tours and would love to show you our facility. All tours are scheduled by appointment. Please contact the office to schedule your tour.
Medications:
We will administer oral, eye, and ear medications. We can not perform allergy shots, vaccines, or insulin shots. If ears need cleaned, please bring appropriate cotton balls or wipes that you use at home.
